It's time for more party dresses, and this time we're focussing on the kimono trend. Yes, they look a bit like dressing gowns, yes, they have very roomy sleeves, and yes, they're super, super comfy when you've just filled up on far too much turkey. The kimono shape is one of the season's most forgiving, though most brands have offset the loose, unstructured top by lopping hemlines as short as they possibly can. You'll need a good pair of tights with most of these styles, especially if you're over 5'5, but they make a fab unexpected alternative to bodycon, and the addition of a good plunge bra will make these dresses surprisingly sexy.
