Tom Dixon’s 2008 reinterpretation of a classic wingback chair is pretty fab — and definitely a major recent design accomplishment. However at nearly $7,000 it is both expensive and of questionable value to collectors — it is still in production, has never been offered as a limited edition and is not physically made in Dixon’s studio.
