Survey Says That Most Women Don’t Wear Half of the Shoes They Buy: "

This probably won’t come as a surprise to many out there, but according to a new study by The Co-operative Insurance the average British woman (and not unlikely, American) owns nearly £400 ($655) of shoes she never or rarely wears. And although survey respondents owned an average of 20 pairs of shoes, 11 of them they barely touch, 10 percent of the 3,000 women interviewed admitted to spending £600—or $983 in U.S. dollars—a year on shoes. Do these stats apply to you? If so, it might be time to think where that money could be better spent.
