(FR) Paris

(FR) Paris: "
Around Easter I have spent several days in Paris. Obviously many of the usual suspects made but there will also occasionally some lesser known parts of town are discussed.

We start just outside the actual Paris Saint-Denis. It is a historic town about 5 km north of the old town which is already long been swallowed by the city.

The main reason to take the subway up there is the same basilica. The first ever Gothic church was erected and for more than 1000 years the cemetery of the kings of France.

The other reason why someone may already have heard of Saint Denis is just slightly outside the center: the Stade de France.
